Terms & Conditions - Services Providers

These Terms and Conditions constitute the legal framework governing the use of the Fixify platform by technicians and maintenance service providers. By registering as a service provider or using the Fixify application, you agree to comply with the terms outlined below as well as any additional policies that may be issued by the platform from time to time. 1. Platform Definition Fixify is a digital platform that acts as a technology intermediary connecting customers who require maintenance services with qualified technicians or service providers who can deliver those services. Fixify does not directly employ technicians nor does it provide maintenance services itself. Instead, the platform provides the digital infrastructure to manage service requests, payments, and communication between users. 2. Registration Requirements All technicians and service providers must provide accurate and complete information when registering on the platform, including personal details, professional information, and valid contact information. Service providers are responsible for keeping their information updated at all times. Fixify reserves the right to reject or suspend any registration if inaccurate or incomplete information is detected. 3. Document Verification Fixify may require technicians to submit verification documents such as identification, business registration certificates, professional licenses, insurance documents, or other relevant credentials. By registering on the platform, the service provider agrees to provide valid documentation when requested and confirms that all submitted documents are authentic and legally valid. 4. Service Provider Responsibilities Technicians agree to provide services to customers in a professional and respectful manner while adhering to the service standards set by the platform. Service providers must arrive at scheduled appointments on time, perform services as agreed upon in the service request, and treat customers with professionalism. Any unprofessional behavior or misuse of the platform may result in disciplinary action including suspension or termination of the account. 5. Job Request Management Service providers may accept or decline service requests received through the platform. Once a technician accepts a request, they become responsible for completing the service according to the request details. Providers must manage requests responsibly and should not accept requests without the genuine intention to fulfill them. 6. Payments and Platform Fees Fixify processes payments through integrated payment gateways to ensure secure transactions between customers and service providers. Technicians agree that payments will be handled through the platforms approved financial system. Fixify may deduct a service commission or platform fee in exchange for providing the digital infrastructure and marketplace services. 7. Payment Account Setup To receive payouts for completed services, technicians are required to create and maintain an account with the platforms designated payment provider such as Stripe. Service providers are responsible for submitting accurate banking information and completing any verification requirements requested by the payment provider. 8. Ratings and Service Quality Customers may rate the service experience after the completion of a job. These ratings help maintain service quality across the platform. Fixify reserves the right to take appropriate action in cases of repeated negative feedback, service complaints, or violations of quality standards. 9. Platform Misuse Service providers are strictly prohibited from using the platform for fraudulent, illegal, or abusive activities. Attempting to bypass the platforms payment system by contacting customers outside the platform to complete transactions is considered a violation of these terms and may result in immediate suspension or permanent termination of the account. 10. Account Suspension or Termination Fixify reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate any technician or service provider account that violates these terms, platform policies, or applicable laws. Service providers may also choose to close their accounts at any time in accordance with the procedures provided within the platform. By registering and using Fixify as a technician or service provider, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to comply with these Terms and Conditions.
