This Pricing Policy explains the pricing structure and financial rules governing service providers who operate through the Fixify platform. The purpose of this policy is to ensure transparency, fairness, and consistency between customers and service providers while maintaining a reliable marketplace environment. 1. Platform Role Fixify operates as a technology platform that connects customers who require maintenance services with qualified technicians and service companies. Fixify does not directly provide repair or maintenance services. Instead, it offers the digital infrastructure needed to manage service requests, communication, and payments between customers and service providers. 2. Types of Pricing on the Platform Pricing on Fixify is generally divided into two main categories: • Inspection or diagnostic fees • Repair or service execution fees Inspection fees refer to the amount paid for a technician or service provider to visit the customers location and assess the issue before determining the required repair work. 3. Minimum Inspection Fee Fixify establishes a minimum inspection fee to ensure fair compensation for service providers and to maintain consistency across the platform. The minimum inspection fee on the platform is set at **80 AED**. This fee covers the technicians travel time and effort required to assess the customer’s issue. Inspection fees may vary depending on the service category or location but will not fall below this minimum amount. The inspection fee is always displayed clearly to customers before confirming a service request. 4. Repair and Service Pricing After the inspection is completed and the issue is identified, the service provider or company is responsible for submitting a quotation for the repair or service work. Service providers are fully responsible for determining the price of repair services. Fixify does not directly control repair pricing. However, the platform may review pricing to ensure that it remains fair and consistent with market standards. 5. Platform Commission In exchange for providing marketplace access, digital infrastructure, job management systems, and secure payment processing, Fixify charges a platform commission. The current commission rate is **15%** of the total value of services completed through the platform. Depending on the service structure, this commission may apply to the entire request value or to specific services included within the request. 6. Taxes and Legal Responsibilities Service providers are solely responsible for managing and paying any applicable taxes, governmental fees, or legal obligations related to the services they provide through the platform. Fixify does not calculate or remit taxes on behalf of service providers unless required by applicable law. 7. Cancellation Policy Related to Inspection Customers may cancel a request without any charge if the technician has not started traveling to the service location. Customers may also cancel the request before the technician arrives at the service location without incurring any fees. However, once the technician arrives at the customers location, the request cannot be canceled. In this case, the inspection is considered completed. Customers may still decline the repair service after the inspection. In such cases, only the inspection fee will be charged and no additional service fees will apply. 8. Pricing Transparency Fixify is committed to providing full transparency in pricing. All inspection fees and applicable charges are displayed clearly before a customer confirms a request. Service providers must also present honest and transparent repair quotations and must not introduce hidden or undisclosed fees. 9. Pricing Monitoring Fixify reserves the right to monitor pricing behavior and review quotations if customer complaints or irregular pricing patterns are detected. These reviews help maintain a fair marketplace environment. 10. Policy Updates Fixify may update this Pricing Policy periodically to reflect operational improvements or market changes. Service providers will be notified of major updates through the platform or via email. By using Fixify as a service provider, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to comply with this Pricing Policy.
